We will have a wild game harvest meal. We will follow the traditional protocols of Ye Olde Table Lodge by opening on the special Entered Apprentice degree, serving a hearty meal in several stages, and having at least the minimum number of toasts where we raise our cannons filled with strong, yellow or weak powder to the various founders and leaders of our beloved craft. As always, impromptu toasts from the floor are welcome, so come prepared with your best ones! The correct language of Ye Olde Table Lodge will be enforced, so bring yer metallic substance (a roll or 2 of nickels) for those occasional slips of the tongue! Collections from this will go to the Brotherhood fund.
The Travelling Cannon will be up for grabs by the Lodge which brings the most Brothers (other than the hosting Lodge) so gather your mates and come down for the fun!
We ask any hunter/gatherer Brothers to offer up a wild game dish in sufficient quantities to feed about 30. We already have enough moose stew meat to make a generous portion of moose stew and possibly a moose etouffee. There is also talk of squirrel pot pies and some sort of mousse dessert. Please let me know as soon as possible if you have something to add to the menu.
